We ordered cross bars and a ladder for my jeep a month ago and around Christmas. My husband got around to installing them both for me today for Valentine's day. Weather held out for the most part as well still very chilly today in Washington. It is made of steel and has a textured coating. My husband and I love the traditional ladder design for safety and more places to grab when climbing up it. The installation was pretty easy for a beginner. The ladder does not stick out far from the vehicle. It adds more functionality to the jeep and allows easy access to the roof. Definitely impressed.

This ladder is perfect! I got it to help with loading our canoe without relying on the tire and some precarious positions that jeopardize that little back window by the backseat. It’s tough as nails without being overly heavy and the traditional style is a lot more safe and stable than some pole ladder configurations available through other vendors. The install was just the right challenge to be enjoyable as a 45 minute one man job. Clear instructions and very few tools needed. The shipment arrived on time and in proper condition and even included the extra little factory pieces (fender clasps, etc.) I was glad to have in case of breakage/loss.
